If a snake started eating its tail...could it swollow its stomach which would mean it is eating itself twice at once?

If a snake was eating another snake that was eating it...It not only would be eating two snakes at once (since it was eating its self too) , but It would also be a case where two snakes were eating four snakes at once but only two snakes would be consumed which is why I ask myself.....Why is this getting worse?

someone acatually posted a pic a long time ago of a snake that started to eat itself. Very odd looking. It died trying. Looked like a snake ring.
