I just put together a 29 Gal bowfront as my 10 year old and I have been dreamming about having darts since he was 6. It is complete with a false bottom, waterfall, pond, Compact lighting and fan. Plantings included Broms on Cork bark, miniature orchids, epiphytes, pillow moss, Selegnia, butterworts, and marginal plants. Finally, we did it. After setting up the tank, he took a long look and turned wide eyed to me and said "You're soooooooo cool mom, the tank looks incredible!!!". I went beeming into the kitchen after many nights of being up late researching, planning and executing and told my husband that I.... was cool. So, he saunters over to peek at the tank and ran away when he heard me coming. When the frogs finally arrived, he could not resist watching us feed them. Now we all watch the frogs eat together every night. I think my husband might think that the tank and frogs were his idea all along. Many times our kids know exactly what the family needs and give us the inspiration to pursuit these childhood dreams-that for my husband, wasn't even a conscious wish.
