is something wrong with my male...............

iluvblackfrancis Jun 20, 2003 03:22 AM

hmm, i was handling one of my male geckos today, and i noticed little holes in his hemipenal bulges (is that what theyre called, i can't think right right now). is this normal, the holes are somewhat in the vent, i had to lift his tail back to see them. i don't want to look on any other males because i don't feel confident that they wont drop their tails. this guy is super tame, i could probably hold him by the tail, but im not gonna try, lol, so thats why i can do it to him. so, those of you who know what this is, please tell me if it's normal or not, he's in perfect health otherwise.

your head will collapse, but there's nothing in it, and you'll ask yourself, "where is my mind"

It's normal, it's nothing to worry about. All my geckos have two small holes in their vent. n/p
