hi, i just heard some really bad stories about heat rocks. i use them for all of my reptiles and never had a problem but now i am scared. im going to remove them from my iguanas cages and my bearded dragons cage because i think they will be ok with the lights that they have untill i can think of something else. but its really hard to keep my uros temp the right hieght. im afraid it would be to cold hith out their rocks. they use them all the time. and im still having trouble keeping the humidity down. i use play sand in their cages and in one cage the sand is always moist. what should i do?

Perhaps you need a higher wattage of bulb? I heat my 4'x2' tank with a 150W bulb in one end a 60W bulb in the center and my temps are perfect... a basking spot of 125 or so, hot end = 100F and cool end = 80F. Your basking spot should easily get to 120F with the right bulb.
