aino Jun 20, 2003 04:28 AM

31.3. I observed mating for the first time.

3.5. the female had layed 3 eggs in a hide on dry sand.

The eggs were incubated in moist vermiculite in 28-30 degrees celcius (82,3-86 F) until yesterday (19.6.) one egg looked like this.

Hatchling measures 13 cm TL and 5,8 cm SLV. It weights 6,7 grams.

My other female layed four eggs. Unfortunately three of them were unfertilized. One very small one keeps developing, which is rather weird.

Third female, who layed one unfertilized egg last year didn't breed this year. If you are interested, you can read about last years unsuccesful breeding attempts from my webpage.
