hks Jun 25, 2004 04:00 PM

Hope someone could help me out with some info on this line of Albinos. I hear that some are weak geneticly. Is there any truth in this? and why aren't more people working with this lines. Hope to hear some information on this... Thanks

The idea that the sharp strain is any weaker genetically is nonsense.

All albinos of any strain are weaker than non albinos of the same strain.

Albinism is a defect and it usually carries other defective genes along with the albinism.

That is why continually outbreeding and hybridizing the albino boas is the only way to keep them strong.
