Hello to everyone that responded to me about 2 weeks ago. Since writing last The pair has calmed down 110% even though i found them to be very tame to begin with. Still full of energy, but not as scared. About a week ago they began taking water directly from me with a plant mister with a long extention on it. They did not seem afraid while drinking, I offer this to them on a daily basis and i think it has built alot of trust, one reason why they may not be so afraid of me. Along with this, it also "rains" every hour on the hour from mid-morning till dusk at about 3 minutes per session. Humidity is at 90% and temps vary from over 100F at the top to 78F at the floor. They are also starting to eat with some regularity disemboweled hopper mice and cooked egg yokes. They are still housed together and stay pretty near to one another at all times. No agression has ever been seen. As with all the monitors i've ever owned, they are very curious and always watching. Here are some pics of my male "Tarynthaxious" and my female "Azul."
See next post for Azul.
Thank you to everyone for their input.
Chris
