my geckos not eating and she had a couple of infections a month ago and she hadnt been eating before that and she hasnt been eating like at all and im afraid shes gonna die cus shes only eaten her shedding wich was a couple of days ago ive been givin her calcium well i was and it hought that was why she wasnt eating cus that filled her up her tails really skinyy but her stomachs pretty fat i dont no how to feed her cus i put meal worms in fron of her and i hold them ive tryed crickets and man i dontno were to buy them mice at and i aint got enough mony to buy her crickets cus my mom makes me buy the stuff cus im savin for a car maybe my mom will buy me som again i thin shes eating but i dont no but i wanna no how can i make her eat meal worms i put them infront her face for like 20 minutes and she will lick it and stuff but she wont eat it so id ont no wat to do

srry, i think a living creature might be a lil more inportaint then a car, especeally when its only ganna cost 10 cents a cricket. you need to try crickets, pinkies, wax worms, silk worms. all diff types of food. if you get her to eat wax worms, then you need to not feed her to meny, they get really addicting and there to fatty. same with pinkies.

and i think your parents shoulda thought this one through, a gecko isn't a goldfish.

it requires proper research and attention.
but hope you take the advice given and your leo and financial situation gets better

man i was justkidding cus iheard wen they dont eat u can feed them baby fodd i bought her like 25 crickets and the other one ate them i thin and i boutght her wax worms and ive tryed to fidn pinkies and i am saving for a car but my moms got lots of money for my geckos we jsut bought them a new cage

Im sorry but I think if you are having problems with your gecko and you and/or your parents can't afford the proper treatment because you are saving for a car(you have to be what?? at least 16 to drive...) you shouldnt have a pet.. kidding or not.. maybe you should think about finding your gecko a good home.. i have 13 leos and 10 of them are ones out of the paper and every single one i got came from a boy ages 8-16 who was bored or couldnt afford to keep them... one has no toes on one foot, one has only one eye, on has lost its tail, and one sounds just like yours, it is so sick, i got her for free because the people went camping for a month and didnt get someone to take care of her.. she is soo sick she has to be hand fed.. it makes me so sad and annoid when people do that...

Peli, take your leopard gecko to the veterinarian ("vet". NOW. Make sure the vet handles reptiles, first - you can probably find one at www.anapsid.org/.

And, Please, Never joke around about this stuff, and never say that you would put an inanimate object above a LIVING animal - not on a devoted ANIMAL forum. It very quickly pushes people to using Inappropriate language (Profanity, Cursing).

Nevin and Snarks - I'm talking about you two. You can make a point without using profane words. Widen your vocabulary. Snarks - I KNOW your vocabulary is big. After all, you were lecturing the kid on his lack of proper English.
