Help!! Need to find herp vet in Malaysia

n1kki Feb 07, 2003 01:03 PM

Hello,

It's an emergency - my star tortoise has gotten a respiratory infection and if you know any herp vets in Malaysia, I would like to know. I can't take it to the dogs-and-cats-vet, they just aren't trained.

I know this might be a wrong place to post this message but I figured that if a vet can treat an iguana, it'll be able to treat a tortoise as well.

I had an iguana before and it was just as difficult trying to find a suitable vet. I even wanted to send it to the zoo, well but that's a long time ago and it wasn't a happy ending so I'm hoping that the same won't happen to my tortoise.

Would appreciate your help.

Thanks a lot
Nikki

OK here is the vet telephone number:41085530 or 41083422-Dr Vellayan. He works for the Zoo Negara.I have others address too: Dr Dillion 03-7955 1370 (near University Hospital). Both have experience with STARs.I have a STAR too.It almost died a few moths ago but now became an eating machine!!!
