In general, do leopard geckos prefer superworms over mealies? Also, how long will they last before they begin to turn into beetles? I received my shipment of small supers from the Worm Man and cannot believe how fast they are compared to those sluggish mealies! One of my leos immediately ate three, but the other two leos only ate one apiece. I'm not sure they like the supers -it may take some time. RR

They will not take a meal of supers two times in a row!!! Buying supers is a waste of time for my leos since they will eat three out of twelve and will not touch them after that. Every leo is different in its eating habits though.

I've started breeding superworms for my geckos and my Savannah Monitor lizard. My female leo LOVES the superworms.. she'll take about 6-8 of them at a time.. but my male won't touch them..and My Sav... he's more interested in the pinkies but.. he'll eat 1 or 2 supers a day..sometimes more...

i feed my leos just supers, with other bugs at other times.
my females grab right at em, as do my baby gex (those supers are cut to bits and then are hand fed to the babies they love em)
