my ball is about 9 months old and rouhgly 2 and a half feet lon. i got him when he was less then a week old so i could train hima s i wanted.i got him to eat mice then dead mice then rat pinkies and fianlly dead rat pinkies. he has been a pig ever since and gets 2 hoppers rat larger then a mouse ever 2 to 3 weeks. they are usually defrosted but since i breed rats i sometimes feed fresh killed but when i do this i wash them a bit to take off some scent and let them cool a bit so they end up like deforsted.

anyway. after a 3 week since last feeding time he decided that he won't eat rat anymore. i ttried 3 times this week, both defrosted and fresh killed with various degress of washing..

whats the deal here? getting babies or imports to feed can be difficult but what about pets that have been at you for years? do they change patterns as well or get bored of some food? any ideas?

thanks

Yeah they change in what they want to eat sometimes, but try feeding a little more often, and it may help (1x per week).
