personally I keep my enclosures simple so bugs dont hide in all the hard to reach places and cleanup is easy. Sand substrate, a roofing tile as a hide and basking spot, a ceramic food plate and maybe a piece of wood to climb in the corner. Nothing fancy here.
you can see pics on my site on the facility page

This is essentially how I have it now, although this picture was taken a year ago with Collared Lizards. The main changes are that I now have sifted sand instead of unsifted Home Depot play sand.
I welded the top out of 1/2" square tubing, bolted in a 3 fixture incandescent light bar and hung a drop down flourescent fixture for 36" Reptisun bulbs. It's all controlled by X10 modules with a schedule and dimming set up on the computer. I dim the incandescent bulbs to various levels as the seasons change. Right now they are at 80 percent.
The cage is in the basement, and it gets rather cold down there in the winter. 50 degrees is a fairly steady temperature in January and February, regardless of outdoor temperature.

Heres a pic of a couple of my cages, like the others i like to keep it pretty simple. easy to clean. Now the bottom cage is MUCH larger then a single or pair need. Its 8ft x 32" x 24" and its holding 3 of my females and 1 male(during season)the other cage is 4ft x 2ft x2ft for the male in the off season.

I don't suppose you have any instructions on how you built it? I want to build two stackable enclosures sometime this summer, but I really don't know the first thing about constructing such a thing, so I'm trying to collect as much info as possible.
