I posted earlier about an OBX king found while camping on Hatteras Island. Only had a cheap disposable camera with us at the time but this one pic didn't turn out terrible. At least it documents the find!

Paul we were actually coming back from the bath house when I heard it moving through the brush next to the trail. I almost walked by thinking it was a lizard but then thought the sound wasn't quite as sharp stepped back and saw the king pattern moving away from a basking spot. I snagged it out of the brush much to the surprise of the guy walking a few feet behind me! His reaction was quite amusing.
