should i be worried??

my Corn snake just laid 1 egg and she's still in the blue! this was late last night and she hasn't laid any more yet. has anyone else ever had this happen before? thanks!

Was it an infertile egg? If so I wouldn't worry. Corns, (or so I've been told and experienced) can lay slugs earlier than the good eggs... just making room for the real deal.

If they havent came out yet give them until later today and if it looks like shes not gonna lay them you can try to push the eggs out. BE VERY CAREFUL AND DONT USE VERY MUCH PRESSURE(you can damage your snake). Or you could take your snake to a vet.

I think it's VERY important to know the answer to the question I asked before going to this extreme. IF it is a slug, DO NOT TRY TO MAKE HER LAY THE REST.... you can do damage to her, and damage to the eggs! She is NOT EGG BOUND if the egg was a slug. If you are not sure it's a slug, then look for pictures of slugs to see if yours is one.
