Get a dehumidifier for the reptile room.

what type cage, what temps? that makes a diference. to much ventilation ups the humidity. I think Cillie suggesed using a towel on top of a screened cage, not a bad idea. more heat, less air circulation will dry the air out in the cage.

give me a call if you want some more help

you might want to get temps up another 5 degrees in the basking light. and you can leave lights on 14 hrs a day to help.
humidity in my cages is never above 20%

an enclosed cage in an air conditioned house. The ac takes most of the humidity out of the air. A tank with less ventilation (like a vision cage compared to a tank with an open top) will also decrease humidity.

47% humidity isn't a problem. Never had any problems keeping my bearded dragon at whatever humidity the rest of my home is. Though it's probably dryer in her cage than in the rest of the house but I haven't done anything special to keep the humidity down. In the heart of summer it does get quite humid in my house but I just use a dehumidifier to help keep it no higher than 60% in the house.

Good ventilation makes it easier to keep a cage from getting too humid, providing the rest of the house is not really high in humidity. If your house humidity is above 60% then get a dehumidifier or two and keep it near your dragon's cage.
