Beanie is getting close.?..Anyone else gone thru egg laying

Linda G Jun 20, 2003 09:16 AM

Hi,

I think the time is getting near and I am getting more
anxious. I will be making an appt at the vet again.
Beanie was not looking too comfortable this morning.
Head down and belly raised into the air. Very weird
sight for her.

Has anyone else been through this to let me know how
their Igs acted as time grew near. She has been off
food for 3 weeks and is getting very thin. It has to
be getting close. I hope so!

Thanks
Linda & Beanie

i had my Egor spayed about 3-4 mos. ago. She never stopped eating and never took knowledge to her bucket 'o dirt! we got really worried about her, remembering that they can become egg-bound, which can kill them. we took her to the vet and each month they said one month more. finally we got tired of them saying that and we told them to spay her. $397.00 bucks later, she's now able to hold twice as much food as before and you can definately tell when she's hungery; she looks like an empty plastic bag, all shriveled up! she looks so pitiful at that time that we're obligated to want to fee her! anyways . . . she has a pretty scar and hasn't change a bit.
P.S. we got to keep her ovaries!!!
