Over your years of struggles and triumph, who has been the SINGLIE MOST favorite and loyal brand of reptile products for you?

Tough question, so I thought. Then I started really thinking about it and it became very easy. I've used about everything out there and for the most part, depending on the product, I can think of good and bad products just about all of the manufacturers produce...except for one. I would have to go with Helix Systems as no other heat controller I have used has even come close to the accuracy and reliability. I love Vision Cages, but they do have shortcomings and for that reason, I have other caging brands as well. Substrate...I work for the local newspaper so I stay stocked with blank newsprint. Flexwatt heat tape is great stuff, but other manufacturers make the same stuff that works just as well. My trophy for handling equipment would go to Midwest Tongs. I have bought handling equipment from other companies (Big Apple) in the past, and the quality is not there. At least, not until I finished making my own modifications. In the end, my Grand Champion is Helix.

I have a few brands I like (Freedom breeder comes to mind) but clearly the greatest brand name in herp gear has to be.....Furhman diversified (formerly Fuhrmont reptile hooks). I have a couple of their cage hooks and a Stump Ripper field hook that have been used continually for 24 years now. Other than a few scratches, they are as good as the day I bought them. Their cage hooks are the industry standard and the Stump Ripper is the greatest field hook ever designed or produced.

Other companies have copied their hooks, and other brands are easier to get hold of (why doesn't Furhman get into the 21st century?), but there isn't a superior product and there isn't anyone with a track record like theirs.

zoo med has the best husbandry supplies i love there artifical climbs heat pads,incandesent bulbs, full spectrum lights, eco earth substrate, and complete diet foods, and any thing you could posabliy need. zoo med always has the best prices and reliablity that other companies cant live up too. They have every thing you need for husbandry no one else comes even close, its one of the only brands I trust with my herp's husbandry needs. Get serious get zoo med.

Zoo med UTH are great if you want a cracked tank bottom and temps that go to insane levels. I wonder if there is a worst UTH pad around.
