Thinking about getting a Bearded Dragon

fishkeeper06 Jun 27, 2004 05:30 PM

Everything I've read about these guys makes me think that they are a good match for me. I have the lights and and stuff I need but I don't know if the tank I have is big enough to house a full grown Beardie. Is a 40 breeder enough room? The dimensions are 36"x18"x16". Do they become more vegetarian as they grow older? Are there any tips you guys have for taking care of them?

A 40 breeder is really bare minimum. They should have 2'x3' but 2'x4' is best.
