1. this is important. Buddy is very weak and eats very little. he hasnt pooped since we got him on saturday. i have these little syringes without needles from when i had to give my igg medicine. should i puree buddys food, sorta liquify it, and force feed him until he gets energy. or let him gradualy eat on his own.

2. is there any good books on mali uros i should get?

thank you in advance for any help given

Don't feed your uro swiss chard it acts as a calcium binder everything else on your list is ok. Try including romaine lettuce, escorole, small amounts of kale for the greens. you could also try zuccini, shredded carrot, sweet potato, dandilion(flower, stem, leaves), fresh yellow & green beans, snow peas, asparagus, alfalfa spouts, hibiscus flowers, pear and apple. For dry foods you could try mixed wild bird seed, lentils and split peas. Your uro will appreciate a variety of foods.

i think you should take him to the the vet. if its a nice day and the sun is out take him outside to get some real sun. once when my uro got sick i took him outside put him in his basking cage for alittle while and he seemed to feel alot better. natural sunlight can do wonders. i hope your uro feels better. good luck

I wouldn't force feed him. If he's ill, then a trip to the vet may be called for. If he's a picky eater, eventually he'll eat something. Just make sure to get the 'right' type of foods. There are tons and tons of posts on diets in this very forum.
