Pics of clutch #2 after their first sheds.

Mystical-Dragons Jun 27, 2004 09:11 PM

The hardest part is picking a holdback for myself LOL. Wish I could get a peek into the future and see how they would look after a few sheds LOL. Which one would you holdback if you were me?? A little help maybe Hope you like the pics. Sorry about the quality for some reason the place where I host the pics shutterfly really screws with the quality big time.

Those all seem to be so much lighter than the first clutch. Their orange is more pale in comparison to the dark oranges you had in the first, almost pastel. They all seem to be losing their patterns already too. It's weird how the two clutches seem so different. Don't get me wrong I think that you have another bunch of screamers there, just different. Have you picked your keepers yet?

I like the one in the bottom pic with four in it. The middle one on the left. Looks like the female I got from you.

Yes, I know I was the first to say it, then my neighbor who bought from the first clutch how much lighter they are then the first group. Which is good for me cause that is what I like, and this will be the group my holdbacks are kept from too I love how some have the gray pattern already, and a lighter peachy orange color. Much more yellow in some of these as well. Overall though as they grow and shed I'm sure they are going to be Orange, but I'm hoping with a little bit of the lighter hues these have right now.

several to pick from, pick the one that picks you .

These babies look a bit lighter than the last clutch, some great peach colors in there, I also like the one with the real noticable pattern that extends down into his tail..... but those things can change so much as they shed and grow older.

I always go with the one that seems more attuned to me.

No the hardest part is letting any of them go!!!

No really the problem I have is selecting one or two out of the many I cared for all day, and become attached to all of them during that time. The last clutch do you know how many times I picked one up and totally fell for it, and was going to keep that one??? At one time or another I was going to keep everyone I sware on that. This clutch though I'm making up my mind and holding a few back LOL.

I cant see any detail or true colors. If you send the BDs to me I will (at no cost to you) pick the best one of the bunch and send it back to you.

As always, you've got some of the nicest babies around. congrats. I am sure the one lucky enough to be a keeper will be beautiful.

LOL sure Bennett I'll send you the tracking info on that order for 24 beardies, just send me back what you think I should holdback hehe

I wish I had the imagination to come up with the pics you take LOL. Those are great!! I always get a good laugh. What kind of camera do you use by the way? And do you host them on your site then post them here, or do you host them on KS, or a separate place? They are always super quality. The place I use Shutterfly shrinks my pics when I save to my album I guess, and in doing so the quality of the original pic gets flushed down the toilet.

I know KS gives you a small space for free when you sign up, but that holds 4 pics maybe. Do you know if Kingsnake gives you more space to save pics to when you purchase a classified account? Or is that separate and more $$$$ Figured I'd ask here maybe you would know? Thanks for the complements on the dragons Bennett

Well I will say it again, they are all stunning.

If you pronmise not to tell, I have been a graphic designer for some years now. www.marketing-masters.com.

I use a 5mp Olympus E20. I host them myself on my site. I am always inspired by the folks here at KS so they get posted here first and then eventually to my funnies page www.beardiedragon.com/pages/Main/laughs%26gigles.html

KS does have a plan to buy server space for posting pics seperate from all other fees. It's really not a bad deal and it is convenient. files are limited to 250k, with good compression that should not be a problem. gallery.pethobbyist.com/

a 10 meg acct is only $20 yr up to a 50meg acct. for $100 annually

Wow Matt!!! I would have a hard time choosing too.
With the group you have there, I think I would go with Cheri's suggestion.

Good luck.
