I think it would be a good idea if we made an artical in reptile mag on anacondas. They tend to get a bad rap for the size and temper. We all have a lot of facts on careing for anacondas and if we all worked and made an artical on condas more people would take notice of them. Just a thought.

Kelly did do a good article, but... a article on keeping anacondas as pets would be as much if not more informational than Kelly's(sorry Kelly).

Oh ya..I can just see the editor after reading the offensive material of Arik and his k9 consuming anaconda and trying to figure out the odd language cody has created(lol...take it lightly guys). But hey, they made a movie about magic flowers and anacondas...go for it (anyone still in high school to have a teacher proof read jk)

We purposely concentrated our article on reproduction as that was our main interest at the time, as so little had been done in that area. We had information on captive maintenance, but did not touch on the human - anaconda interaction as you are focusing on. Interesting idea.

So Kelly you in on the anaconda care artical. you do have some inside connections being that you have an artical in reptiles already ( i have read it about a thousnad times)
