Did you see the Calico in the Classifieds? What do you think?

There's an ad in the ball python classifieds for a Calico. Here's the link:
http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=32&de=105215
I contacted the seller about it being a calico or not. I got an honest response that he had checked with some breeders and they stated that it is a calico and that they had never seen anything like it.
I'm curious and would like to hear the opinion of those that use this forum. Also, if you happen to be one of the breeders that was contacted by Dave Lawson for your opinion and you identified it as a calico, PLEASE email me. The ball in the post is a male and I happen to have a female that looked just like that when she was purchased. She too is an "unknown".
When I posted pics of mine in the forum most of the responses were the same, never seen one like it. One breeder stated that it was a scar but scars don't follow the outline of blotches or stripes, nor do they appear on both sides of the head creating a symetrical pattern. She has gone through some changes and I'll post a new pic after hearing some responses.
Thanks
Here's some pics of mine.

Its not as uncommon as you think.......last year here in Miami alone 17 babies and adults changed from regular looking babies to "calico" looking animals. As they grew and shed the grey got darker and turned black to make an overall ugly snake. lol. It is what VPI calls changing balls. They change for some reason...but as they get older they eventually look like normal balls but ont he darker side. My close friend had a het albino female do this.......it looks pretty normal now except for the darkeness of the snake giving it a drab appearance.

When it first starts happening they look calico with blotches of nromal pigment and grey pigment. The next shed you will see less normal and more grey till eventually it looks like one of the best axanthics in the world. After that it goes back the other way.
