One of my savannahs do something that puzzles me, when he/ she/it is shedding, the critter will got to the burrow when almost done shedding. After shedding and showing off the pretty new skin, it goes and caves in the burrow. The critter goes above the entrance and digs at an angle until the burrow is collapsed. Then it eats, eats some more and bask and just starts acting like a monitors again. The only bad side to this is I have to climb in and do a major clean up afterwards.
Has anyone else had this experience?
