The making of a MONSTER !

Here is my male 2003 hatch Georgia Eastern King from Will Still (Enge Georgia Stock). He is getting unbelievably big !!!! Does anybody besides Zee have any Kings from 2003 that are on this path ? I cant find my Feb and Mar measurements but they were like 25-26" or something like that. You can see in the pics that he isnt overweight he simply gets long and stays lean with a decent sized noggin' as well. He is as big as my 2002 Easterns.

3/26/2004 - 28.49"

4/7/2004 - 29.86"

Keith, how long was he at hatching? What's his feeding schedule like? I have an '03 Florida king that I picked up last July at 12.5 inches; she's now about 24 or so, which I figured was about normal. (The pic is from last fall.) She's graduated from 2 pinkies/week initially, through 1-2 fuzzies/wk, to now 1 hopper/wk. She probably could handle a hopper every 4-5 days, but she's quite healthy now and I don't want to risk overfeeding. (She looks an awful lot like the darker PB Brooksis in Rainer's post above. Might I have a Peanut Butter Brooksi?)

Keith, how long was he at hatching?
He was around 12" when I got him an average size but larger than the Northern types of Eastern at hatching. Also he was a late August hatch I believe.

What's his feeding schedule like?
It varies but on average 3-4 fuzzies a week. When he was smaller it was 3 pinks a week or so. I dont powerfeed any of my snakes I dont have the time or the money lol

That is a normal average size for a Floridana. My posts was in reference to how abnormal mine was in size not that everyone else's whose wasnt that big is behind.

1 hopper every 4-5 days is not power or over feeding

No unless you purchased it as a PB het from Rainer its not a PB or a het. That snake looks like a normal Brooksi.
