Sonya,
Congrats on your bunch! I see in one of the photos you are utilizing a pen--bitey little worms, aren't they--lol. What I love about childreni is that they are born with the attitudes of wild caught retics. Guess that comes from being afraid that everything is out to eat you. Best of luck with them!

I was hoping to not intimidate them while checking out the rest of the clutch. Then the little monster wrapped the pencil! Now that they are shed they are calmer. I wish they were biters, it would be easier to tease feed them. Since the first day they are acting just like mom and dad, curious, but not upset.

Congrats on having such calm childreni! I have 1:2--all since they were hatchlings. My male has always been super calm. My older female was a biter for the first year or so, then one day decided to become a docile python. My younger female is almost 2, and still makes me bleed. Often when I enter the snake room, she'll come out of her hide and assume the strike position "just because".

Next year the male will be old enough to breed, and it will be interesting to see the temperaments of the youngsters. Your babies have lovely temperaments and are beautiful to look at--the best to all of you!
Regards,
althea
