the same as a schneider skink. I was sold a berber skink a few years back but I have seen the schneider skinks on this site and they look like they are the same thing. He was full grown when I got him and lived for about 6 years. Is this about right? What is the normal life-span? I was very uninformed when I got him but he seemed to do alright.

I'm no expert but I am almost positive that the berber and the schneider are the same lizard. I have one myself. I was told the average life span was around 15-20 years but I could be wrong. This is my skink. (his tail is abnormally short)

Great colors on your happy skink. I keep fire skink but love the berbers to. Read that they can be biters. do you find that to be the case?
What size tank do you house him in and how is the set up?
