I had my beardie (Ping-Pong) outside today for some natural UV rays. I let him walk around in the grass for a while, and he started eating it.

This is fairly weird since she is very young and hasn't eaten more than two or three bites of any greens or fruits that I've offered her. Is the grass in anyway bad for her? There are no pesticides or lawn products of any kind on the grass.

So is it safe? and is there any nutritional value to grass?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I don't think it is super harmful (as long as you are sure there are NO chemical additives). I wouldn't use it as part of her salad, but a little treat shouldn't hurt anything.

I would be more concerned about the fact that she will eat outside. It might me very difficult for you to control what she injests. Once she eats something bad, it is too late. As long as you are sure all she is eating is grass... remember, Lightening bugs are poisoness.!!

yea, deff no chemicals of any kind.

She was only out for 10 or 15 minutes and I was staring at her the entire time. She didnt move more than 3 feet. She did try and grab a piece of paper and a rock but I quickly moved them and threw them away.

Overall, she seemed to really like being outside and jumping from place to place.
