Well I just got myself a baby pac man frog yesterday.. Today i got a dozen crickets and decided to feed him a few. I covered 3 crickets in vitamin dust and fed them to him... He ate them! Then i decided to put two more in. He ate one of the two and then he tried to eat the other one and when he opened his mouth the cricket he just ate popped out alive and he just sat there and occasionally opened his mouth and shut it and then wouldn't eat the two crickets. Does anyone know why this happened?

You overfed the frog. Unlike mammals and lizards they do not chew their food but simply swallow it alive and whole if it is small enough. Becareful with feeding crickets as the ovipositors and spines on the legs of the crickets can cause problems for the frogs.
