i just got another terrarium and this piece is a little broken and i am concerned that a small baby snake would work his way out of the cage
the piece is the clear rubbery plastic hinge that holds the glass sheet/glass flip open door to the screen side, the piece is cracked half way through

It won't be clear plastic but they are available through all glass aquarium dealers. If you don't know one in your are go to the all glass website and use their store locator.

It looks like your hinge is of a flexible plastic variety. I've seen something similar on a website for TAP Plastics. I believe it's www.tapplastics.com. If not just do a search for TAP Plastics. They sell a variety of plastic products including the hinge piece you're looking for. Hope this helps.
