Ball with mites, how to get rid of them for good? more

GoldyGirl Jun 29, 2004 08:53 AM

Hey everyone, I'm the one who's ball was let loose by my little sister about 2 months ago, well, I found her about a month ago, she had a respitory infection, cleared that up by high temps and warm water, she started eating last week and has had about 5 mice she's gaining her weight back, but she managed to get mites while she was out..i got some mite spray from the petstore, when i get it back from my boyfriend i'll post the name of it, it's for fleas ticks and mites, anyways, we redid her tank completely, new astroturf, boiled everything in it, sprayed the tank and her, and I'm still finding them on her, I dont want them to hurt her..anyone got any ideas for getting rid of them becausei think they layed eggs under her scales because they are all really small now..anything to help is greatly appreciated..

Provent-a-Mite, buy a can, use it exactly as directed. Other ways will take longer and not work as well. Don't know about what spray you have but if it isn't for herps, I wouldn't mess with it.

Reptile relief has worked for me. Spray it dircetly on your snake.

Get some provent-a-mite and spray the enclosure as well as the snake. Don't go overboard with spraying the snake and don't spray its face.

Problems will be history.
