My female BCI dropped 20 babies the other day. 9 regulars and 11 hypos (4 really hi pink). I need to sex them. They're 10 or 11 days old. Should I try to sex them myself or take them to a vet. Any instructions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well i dont think its called the RUb method =)
Simply take the snake between the thumb and index finger, apply pressure right beneath the vent and apply this pressure working your way down the tail. About half way down you should feel lumps pass ... if so this is your male.
I have always had 100% accuracy using this method on my boas.
the same thing. Give it a try and see how you do. Maybe someone you know can double check what you get...I'd be more than happy to if we lived near each other LOL! Anyways, this method is far less stressful on the little ones than probing or taking them to a vet to be probed.
Good luck!
