here is a pic of my butter-taken in march-she is more yellow now...what do you mean do they look like snow when they are hatchlings though? do you mean white? if so they are not, they are white/pale yellow background with brown/reddish with a little yellow tone to the blotches...also my butter is 6 months or so in the pic

Yes i mean white, i read it in the corn snake manual, in the paragraph about butter... kathy says: "Hatchlings start out rather white like baby snows. That is to be expected since the intensity and bodily distribution of yellow pigment is never very apparent until any corn reaches at least few months to a year in age."

I just wanted to see what it could look like!!

LOL ok...but they look like baby snows with yellowish hues rather than white on white...e-mail me and i have some pics of butterswhile they are hatching and right after

My butter was produced by me the mother is Kilowea and the father is Phoenix(see my signature ) also i got the mom from Ben Siegal Reptiles but i don't know if he produced her or not and the father is from [bleep] parents

they look like butters at birth and get yellower as adults......

...they are actually snows......
