color change(confused)

verve May 14, 2003 05:08 AM

i got my gtp as a red hatchling. its color changed to orange then yellow. it's about 2.5 feet now. and the colour is still yellow with a few small green patches and specks here and there. the green color started showing 3 to 4 months ago. i've read on other websites that the transfomation to full green takes about a week or so. i have friends who's gtps are smaller than mine and are already full green. why is this so?

Color change can vary from as little as one day, up to 3-4 years. Biaks tend to take their sweet time with their green and are on the long end of the spectrum. Just hope your little one keeps the yellow. Good luck.

thanks! i really hope that it retains the yellow. i don't know the locale as the dealer wasn't sure as well.. it's very tame and the temperament's totally different from my biak.
