Yes,and no. I honestly sorta gave up. The only beastie I have that wants or needs them is able to deal without. And while I did get them to reproduce it was too few and too slow to make the bother worth it. Is it just me? Mealies are so much easier I just can't get worked up about waxies I guess. Are Waxies always so slow?

Haven't we warned you about tampering with the structure of a chaotic system?

I haven't timed it but it seems that the waxworm's cycle is faster than mealworms...I've got waxies up to here!! LOL! Once you get them going, they reproduce in huge numbers. I'm also having better luck with a commercial waxworm food/bedding...during the summer months, the honey ferments and I lost a bunch of caterpillars. But, this stuff doesn't ferment. Email with your address and I'll send you some to try.

Just let me know where you got it and that would be great. Wow, waxies. That would be nice, given the price.

Are you sure...? I was going to send you some waxies while I was at it. I have WAYYYY more than I can use. LOL!

Anyway, the food is from Niles Biological in Sacramento, California. They have a website but you should just call Jodi. 916-386-2665
