calabar sand boas

I was wondering if anyone is working with calabar sand boas or knows where to get some...if so please let me know.

It's from W. Africa,(Calabaria reinhardti) it's in the Family Pythonidae.You might want to post in the Python's Forum.

A Calabar Sand Boa,but i've never heard of one.The Calabar Ground Python is from the Rainforest of W.Africa.

So they aren't really either boas or pythons. The sandboa and rubber boa folks will probably have the best info for you on them.

Cool looking snakes though.

Yes they are Erycines, but that is simply a subfamily of Boidae, so they are boas, not pythons.

That's the name I always knew them by. I thought they were considered Boas but I'm definitely no expert on them. I believe the East Bay Vivarium breeds them. I know they did in the past few years but I'm not sure about currently so you might want to check with them...
