Corn X Gopher

ReptileStu Jun 29, 2004 07:57 PM

Does anyone have photos of F1 and F2 generations GopherXCorns. I am attempting a cross between a snow corn and a Great Basin Gopher. I know from other inquiries that the F1 offspring will be double Het. for amel. and anery. and if breeding these together I will getnormals, reds, blacks and snows. yet I am still curious as to what the F2 will actually look like.

Impatiently,
ReptileStu

I don't have a pic but the F2's are pretty darn nice.

The f1's on the other hand are butt ugly!

My F1 gopher corn (sonoran x corn) is really pretty to me. Nice red saddles, gopher shaped saddles, kind of corny head. I've got pics of him, but not on KS.

but wait until you see their offspring.

here is a pic of a wildcaught hybrid. It is a calif king X gopher caught on private land in northern calif.

I have never seen photos of gopherX crosses in the F2 generation. If you could post some pics, that would be awesome!!!
