I really appreciate all the offered advice and condolences. Sometimes, it just helps knowing I'm NOT the only one something like this has happened to, and I'm not the only one that loves their animals like any other pet. ;D
Yes, it hurts tremendously right now, but I'm trying to focus on all the comical, sweet and fun times I had with Nyoka, rather than the cold hard fact that I no longer have him in this life.
It will take some time before that heartache goes away, but he will never be forgotten.
