I love to find wild turtles and photograph them.I got lucky on my first day of vacation and found this girl near a lake.It took almost all morning for her to make the nest.We had been a month without rain until the night before.She eventually laid four eggs and gave me some great pics.

she is an eastern.I kept going back all during the day to check on her progress but it paid off when I got this picture.
