are you sure that it is 3 months old?, haveyou had it in your possession for that long, most pet stores make up an age whent hey sell animals but yea, 6 inch at 3 months is tiny

you can check growth charts and findBDs all grow at different rates. Yes your BD is small now but that doesn't mean it has to stay that way. genetics are important in determining size but it's more that that. Good husbandry is very important and finding out wat makes your BD happy will go a long way to that end.
BTW for what its worth, from a clutch of babies I have now, the average size at 17 days old is 5.5" and 5.4 grams. the smallest is just over 4" and the biggest is a bit over 6".
