I've been observing salamanders for a while now and have had great luck photoghraphing All but one of our native salamanders. I've have never seen a Cal Tiger, no matter how many perfect areas I looked in. I've searched Sonoma, Napa, and Solano counties. I would like any information on their Natural History. I've been to several websites but am still hungry for more info. and Are these salamander still found in Napa or has agriculture taken over their breeding ponds. Any Info on these awesome tigers will be greatly appreciated.
