Hi there,

from the questions you are asking about your cham I get the feeling you didn't do all that much research before getting him. I am not berating you I just want to get you in the right direction. I am listing the most recommended sites for chams below. I also want to ask you if your 5 month old veiled is in a tank as you mentioned below in your question about feeding. 5 months is too old to be in a glass tank - unless you were just calling it that.

You can list your current setup (lighting (brands and duration), food, humidity, menas of water/misting, temps, gutloading, supplements, plants in cage) and we can help you do some trouble-shooting to make sure you and your cham have a long, healthy and happy life together

here are the sites:

It is best to research before you get your cham and one thing to remember, as wrong as it may sound, you cannot always trust the breeder to give you correct advice and if you got it from a pet store you can be sure they gave your wrong info. A tank is NOT ok for a cham past a few months of age.

Well, you came to the right place now We are not vets here but we are alot of people who care deeply for our chams and have quite a variety of experience and can offer support in the tough times, too. I think you'll also find that we can be kind of silly sometimes, too Welcome to the cham addiction! Do you have other pets?
