Heating Plastic

I have a temporary 35 gallon plastic tub for my young ball python while I build the new terrarium. How do you heat it?

Heat pad, dimmer. That's about all you can do. Well, not all I guess. You could cut a 6" dia hole in the lid, glue on some screen and use a 5 1/2" dia incandescent reflector with a low-watt bulb.
