I'm so upset...
I begged and waited for this snake. Finally sent my $175 to the business and this is what I got:

I contacted the seller and all I got was a " sorry no live arrival garuantee, get pissed at the shipper not us "... these a-holes have my money and all I have is a stiff dead snake...

The opinions I need are on the shipping conditions.
When the delievery person showed up with a 9" long box, 6" deep, and only 3" high my responce was " there's a 6 foot long beauty snake in that?!?! "
I opened the teeny box to find a snake bag (9" wide and 19" long) that held a severly cramped dead beauty snake. No styrofoam, no padding of any kind, no shredded newspaper or ANYTHING.
I've shipped TONS of snakes before and NEVER sent them like this!!! When confronted the seller said " don't blame this on the shipping conditions, they were perfect, I had air holes all in it ".....

does that sound right to you?!?! in my very pissed off opinion right now that sounds HORRIBLE! I thought it before I even noticed the dead snake.
Please respond, I need advice of others!!!

I have shipped quite a few snakes and I must say, If anyone ever recieves a snake from me shipped in those conditions....PLEASE come beat the crap out of me. I am so sorry for what happened to you, and I never deal with anyone that doesnt guarentee live delivery for that specific reason. I will say however they are lucky I didnt recieve it, I would have their name all over here to warn others. Mike

That is absolutely ridiculous. How do you know it wasn't already dead and frozen when they sent it to you? No live delivery guarantees? No offer to make things right? Was it shipped overnight or 2nd day? If the box wasn't damaged or crushed, the snake should have been able to survive an overnight trip easily even with that piss-poor packaging.

Did you get the ad from the Kingsnake.com classifieds? If you did, there's a section on there to report rip-offs. These are the kind of people that give everyone in the business a bad name.

Please do go to the BOI, I want to know who did that.
