I think the bearded dragon manual is the best beginners bearded dragon book available as well, however there is a lot of things that are in strong disagreement with the general advice given on this forum. I would recommend reading the forums instead of a book to get many opinions on how to care for your dragon. If you do get the bearded dragon manual make sure to check the info on the forum. there are certain things in it that are not the BEST answer in my opinion.
