9ft Female Belknap Suriname ............ (pics..dial up warning)

SuppleReptiles Jul 01, 2004 12:29 AM

I picked this girl up recently, from Jason Taylor who raised her from a baby. She will be breed next year, I just need to decide by what male. She was produced by Tim Belknap, from the Karry King Stoltz bloodline that Barry Miller often posts. She has the most intense color that I have ever seen on an adult. She was a solid red baby. Another CBB beast. These pics are really bad, I will post some better ones I hope. Let me know what you think!

I think that is one of the best Suris I have seen! Outstanding color on that girl! Good luck with her in the future.

Thanks for the comments as always! I was very lucky to get her. Her head is freaky, like nothing I have seen... the red/pink just drips all over the place and she looks like she was airbrushed . Are you going to go to Daytona this year?

I wouldn't be able to control myself in a place like that. Not at all!!! Sad.........But, true!

Do you consider the babies crosses ? Aren't Stoltz animals from French Guiana ? Would you breed a suri to a guyanan ?

SuppleReptiles Jul 01, 2004 12:40 PM

Interesting topic. . .I would like to get a pure stoltz male from Miller to breed her to, we will see if Barry cranks some babies out this year. I would breed it to a suri, and I don't consider it a cross. All it is, is a political boundry. Getting another French Guinna is next to impossible, so why let an animal like this waist away? I wouldn't be the first to do it, Miller has done it. You had 2 babies from the Stoltz x Suri litter. I wouldn't breed a black guyanan to a light suriname, but I would breed a similar looking guyanan to a similar looking suri. Something like 90% of all BCC (surinames) are exported out of Guyana anyways, so who is to say what is what???? Its all jungle out there, the animals don't know the difference.

regardless of the borders, exporting etc, you do have an animals that is fairly rare with traceable lineage .. why ruin it ? There's gotta be other Stoltz animals out there , talk to Kara , or do a loan with Barry.....

SuppleReptiles Jul 01, 2004 12:57 PM

Hopefully I will be able to find some other stoltz animals out there. That would be ideal. Do you happen to know the name of the town that these where collected in?

Your 50% suri albino.

Or how bout a north brazilianXsuriname hybrid like the ones from FLR.

Or he could just loan her to you, and you could breed her yourself!

be nice you 2.
