argentine lovers beware....

I'm posting more pictures!

Keep in mind, if you want to see their true colors, check out my photo gallery (and you've all seen their first photos), they are stressed still and this was our first handling session together. So the colors are darker than what they normally are during the day.
But, beautiful nonetheless!

Hugs!

Here are some pics....sorry. ;D

These are only pics of the male thus far...the female was really nervous yesterday so I didn't want to freak her out further with the noisy camera.
Notice how much pink the male still has. Lovely.
Also, both snakes have ALL of their medallions connected. Just awesome. ;D

P.S. I can't wait until they are comfortable here and show off their real colors. :D

Showing off his pink more. These guys are really great once you get them out of their cages. They have a feeding response that is intense so a hook is the way to go. They pop the cages everytime someone or something moves in the room (I keep them mostly covered so they can have light but don't get interrupted with my movements..don't want them to break their faces. LOL). Once out of the cage, they immediately show an attitude change..."oh, no food. Dang!...well I guess we'll just play with you then"

Thanks Chris.

I am pretty dang proud of my collection. I am not what you'd call a person with money at all. LOL So, my collection is very special to me and when I can finally afford the more high end projects, I get excited. :D
Argentines are not considered high end but the are to me. I love them. Just gorgeous contrast and strong beautiful animals.
I'll have more pics this week of more of my animals. ;D

All of your animals will eventually be on my list (er, all of the types you have. ;D) They are all wonderful animals and I can't wait to get more as my collection grows from breeding and such.

Thanks John!

I love'em too. Just an outstanding species. More people need to have these. I know they were once grossly imported but how in the heck did these guys ever lose their flavor? They are marvelous. Of course, you're talking to the same person that, after rescuing my first Macklott python (had NO clue what they were other than people saying they were smart on the python forum)...went home the night before, did all night research on them and after taking her in...I fell madly in love. I now have a pair of subadult timors I need to get back from my friend and a trio of baby Roti locale (can't wait for some Semau's to be born one of these days from Chris Carmichael so I can get some! hehe).

Species like the argentines and mackies...I just don't understand why more people don't have these amazing, stunning and wonderful creatures.

Hugs!
