What exactly do you mean? It takes a lot of training to be able to identify what you are seeing in a fecal. You can't just grab a sample and stick it on a slide and automatically know what you are looking at. There are going to be 1000s of things in a fecal sample from a dragon. There are Reptile med. books available that are helpful in the identification of problem organisms in a fecal, but they all cost over $100. I recommend the Frye or Mader books, they are both good. The Mader book is a little more up to date, but the Frye has better pics.
If you are looking for coccidea in the fecal you are going to see it, but how will you determine whether it is a normal amount or not?
You should also do a fecal float in order to isolate the parasites and eggs. That involves mixing the sample in a highly concentrated sugar solution. The eggs and parasites float, the rest sinks.
It is really complicated, and in order to medicate for problems you will have to see a vet anyway.
I don't think that an untrained person can accuratly read a fecal at all. Perhaps you can ask you vet to TEACH you to read the fecal, that is the best advice I can give.
Kakadu Dragons
Good luck!!
