Dart Frog Starter Kits?

GECKOFREAK Jul 01, 2004 05:24 PM

I was looking on BlackJungle.com, and they had "Dart Frog Starter Kits" for a 20 Gallon "High" vivarium with the items listed below:

You get: • 7 Assorted Plants • Co-Co Bedding (2)• Tree Fern Fiber • Dyna-Gro Fertilizer • 18"-22" Wood • 1 Sq. Foot Live Moss • Med. Water Dish • 20 Gal. Terra-Lite • Substrate Divider • 32 oz. Spray Bottle • Co Co Hut • Instruction Sheet

Seeing as how Black Jungle is a trusted source for vivarium plants and Dart Frog vivarium items, I was wondering if those items would be sufficient (along with a glass tank and lighting and stuff) to get a start on creating a beginner naturalistic vivarium for Dart Frogs.
Thanks,
Travis

I purchased the deluxe starter kit for a 20 gallon high back in march and it has been working out great, Instead of using the 20 gallon high though i used a 29 gallon tank which is only about 6 inches longer i belive, it houses 2 male cobalt tincs. good luck

raising and breeding dart frogs our selfs, I would trust Black Forest, we keep 6 green/black aratus, 2 bi-color, and 2 powderblues in a 55 gal. set up in our living room and they are much more fun than fish to watch, there is always something going on to watch.
