Is there any Argentine Blood in the Arabquese Boa Morph line. The reason I ask is that I can't help but see similarities between the Arabquese Morph and the Salmontines that have the Argentine blood in them. This is one of my Salmontine X Colombian/Suri crosses from last year. The pattern, the speckling and the thin saddles are all very similar. Anyone know what the locality of this morph was when it started?

Well, from the article, it was just two normal col. boas. If you don't have that old Boa issue from Reptiles magazine, let me know and I'll e-mail the article to you word for word. I think it was Nov. 98 off the top of my head. Take care

Oddly enough I have all the reptiles mags. I have been keeping them since they came out, although I am recently loosing interest in it as it never seems to have any new info on the most kept Herps. it seems that we are always looking at some obscure reptile that two people in the entire world keep and they need pollen infused IV's to survive. It has been almost 8 years since they did a boa issue and I personally would love to see a Morph Boa issue like the did with the ball Pythons and Corn snakes?

That's funny, because I am pretty much in the same boat. I HAD to have every issue. If I didn't have it, I'd find it! Now days, I could care less about the issues, and haven't for atleast the last year or more. The issues I do have though, are stacked alternately in stacks of the year they were issued..stacked that way so they don't form a "wave" by the top of the stack. I wish the Vivarium would have stayed a sole publication and not merged....I couldn't tell you where the vivariums influence is present in Reptiles magazine, but I guess it's there somewhere. And what ever happened to the readers digest sized Reptile magazine? Well, let me know if you don't end up finding it as I'm going to e-mail to someone already from this post. Take care
Paul
