HI I HAVE MY REPTILE LICENSE'S FROM FISH AND WILD LIFE BUT I WANT TO REGESTER MY BUSINESS NAME SO NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO STILL IT FROM ME. HOW DO I GO ABOUT DOING THAT. WE ARE GOING TO BE ON THE WEB IN ABOUT ONE MORE MONTH TO SELL VEILS AND AMBILOBES AND I WANT TO GET ALL MY STUFF LEGAL. CAN SOME ONE HELP ME PLEASE THANKS SCOTT....

Usually you get a business license from your state of residence. You can fill out a form to register your business name, you will have to have a search done first to make sure the name isn't already taken. You might get it done as a DBA (doing business as) listing, cheaper than LLC and other types of incorporating. No other company will be able to use your name. Getting a website domain name is even easier. You can do it through yahoo for about $15 - $20. Google domain name registration to get some other sites that will let you register your domain name. I have been going through all of this too. I am working on my pet dealers license. How did you get your fish and wildlife license?

thanks for the info. for the license's we looked up the fish and wild life number in the phone book and called them they sent us the forms to fill out to register and it takes about two months to get it from them plus $50.00 a year.it was real easy. you tell them what kind of animal you are going to be selling and they will take care of you. thanks again scott......
